How It Works?
Reliance WR provides a free food waste collection service for bulk waste producers such as restaurants, residential welfare associations (RWAs), and food industries.
The collected waste is transported to Unifly's facility, where it undergoes sorting and pre-processing to remove non-organic materials like plastics, metals, and packaging waste. This ensures that only organic food waste enters the recycling process.
BSF-Based Waste Transformation:
Using Black Soldier Fly (BSF) technology, food waste is rapidly consumed by larvae, converting it into nutrient-rich biomass. This process mimics nature’s way of breaking down waste efficiently and reduces methane emissions, which would otherwise result from waste decomposition in landfills.
The BSF larvae grow exponentially during this phase, increasing their weight 10,000 times within 10 days.
Environmental Impact:
